You will need to assemble a School Deworming Team and provide training for the team on the benefits of deworming, how to deliver mass treatment to children at school, and how to prepare the local community.

A School Deworming Team should include:

1. a head teacher,

2. a classroom teacher,

3. a community member (preferably from the parent-teacher association), and

4. a local health center representative.

Training should be arranged by area and emphasize the teachers’ role in delivering the treatment to children. If you register, training materials, modules, and kits may be provided by Deworm the World. Some online materials include:
